Monday – Friday, 8 - 5 PM

On Friday, December 6, 6:15 PM a Trailboss motor coach stationed out of the San Benito office, was involved in a highway accident on Farm Road 509 which has temporarily closed the Rio Hondo Bridge and sent four people to the hospital.

“At this time, our primary concern is with the wellbeing of our passengers and the security transport drivers,” said company COO Bob Christe. “All four were taken to the Valley Baptist Medical Center for immediate care. Our driver remains in stable condition and our co-driver was treated and released. The detainees received treatment and were released to the Department of Homeland Security.”

“We are doing everything we can to cooperate with the Rio Hondo Department of Public Safety. Because the motor coach was transporting detainees, we are also working with the Department of Homeland Security. We apologize to the people of Rio Hondo area for any inconvenience the bridge closure may bring,” said Christe.

Throughout this process, Trailboss will continue operations while working with the Department of Transportation and police department as needed.

Response to attacks on their ICE contract

June 27, 2018

(Anchorage, Alaska) Trailboss Enterprises is an Anchorage-based technical, transportation and airfield services company. We provide these services to government agencies, primarily to military and defense agencies across the nation and in England. One of our contract is with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Removal Operations to transport adult males, females and children under the responsibility of the ICE San Antonio Field Office.

We have been safely and humanely transporting detainees 24-hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays under the terms of our ICE contract. Detainees are transported in air-conditioned motor coaches and vans outfitted to ICE requirements. Each is served a meal. A highly trained, two-person team is part of all transports. Trailboss services its ICE contract with a professional workforce, all hired locally from the San Antonio area. Most speak Spanish and are Hispanic American.

Trailboss has a contract to provide transportation. Period. We have provided that service so competently for the past and our contract has recently been re-awarded.

Trailboss is a family company based on good, old-fashioned family values. To watch our employees be harassed for just doing their job is heart-breaking and intolerable. Our employees deserve to be treated with the same respect and compassion they treat the people they transport. We are not policy-makers. We’re just a little minority-owned Alaska company trying its best to do a good job.
